Alina Saad Habba, is an Iraqi born in New Jersey, who is a lawyer and managing partner at Habba, Madaio & Associates LLP. She earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and has served as the legal spokesperson for former President Trump. Habba is also a senior advisor for the MAGA movement, actively campaigning to attract Arab support.
In contrast, Nasrina Bargzie, an Afghan American lawyer born in Kandahar, came to the U.S. with her family as refugees. She holds a Juris Doctor from Berkeley Law School and served as deputy counsel to Vice President Kamala Harris from 2022 to 2024. In her role, she focused on outreach to Muslim and Arab voters and advised on issues related to these communities within the Harris administration until July. Both women have made significant contributions to building bridges between their communities and the political landscape in the United States.
