Dr. Ahmad Zewail is an Egyptian American chemist who earned the title of Father of fetmochemistry. He was also awarded the Nobel Prize in 1999 in chemistry. When Dr. Zewail joined the California Institute of Technology for Post PHD research he was awarded a post in its faculty, soon he became director of the physics department. Dr. Zewail was chosen to participate in the presidential council of advisors on since and Technology for President Barack Obama.
Dr. Zewail, was planning to establish a modern University in Egypt together with research laboratory
to advance scientific research in Egypt, but unfortunately, he passed away in 2016, leaving the
Legacy of the first Arab to win the Nobel prize in science.
